About the Role
You’ll work closely with the civil team, where your welding experience will be essential. While some days will be spent in the workshop, most of the work will take place on-site, assisting with tasks such as splice caging and pipe welding. Primarily working on-site with some workshop duties.

Duties
- Perform fabrication and on-site welding using MIG, TIG, ARC, and SMAW techniques
- Assist with piling and civil labour tasks during welding downtime
- Apply knowledge in splice caging, rebar installation, and pipe welding
- Work effectively within a diverse team environment
- Available to work some weekends, if required.
Skills & Experience
- Must provide a current pre-qualification welding assessment report with passes in MIG, TIG, and ARC
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fabrication and on-site welding roles
- Solid understanding of civil construction with prior site-based work experience
- Hands-on experience with splice caging, rebar installation, and pipe welding
- Holds Construct Safe or Site Safe certification
- Must have welding equipment and is able to travel to various sites within Auckland and other regions
