About the role
Lead and manage high-value construction and development projects across New Zealand, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
The ideal candidate is someone that has Main Contractor Delviery expierience of large commerical developments and has moved client side with Development Manager input on projects.
Open to candidates operating at that level and stepping into Development Management.
- Oversee project planning, design, and execution
- Manage budgets, timelines, and risk assessments
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with NZ building codes/regulations
- Drive continuous improvement in project delivery
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or construction-related qualification
- 10+ years in construction/development management
- Strong leadership & stakeholder management skills
- Proven track record in NZ projects
- Knowledge of NZ building codes/standards
- Exposure to Private Sector commercial property Development
- Main contractor delivery experience is ideal
