The Position
As the Engineering and Maintenance Manager, you will ensure that a large-scale manufacturing facility operates at maximum efficiency. You will manage a skilled maintenance team, oversee the implementation of preventative maintenance strategies, lead capital improvement projects, and champion compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. You'll play a key role in optimising plant performance and ensuring top-tier operational reliability.
Skills and Experience Required
- Proven background in engineering, plant maintenance, or manufacturing operations leadership.
- Strong people management abilities, including team leadership and staff development.
- Hands-on experience with preventative and reactive maintenance systems.
- Knowledge of health and safety, compliance (including ISO standards), and project management best practices.
- Sound decision-making, budgeting, and contractor management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
