The Position
As an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor in the Interior Fit-Out division, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of projects. You will work closely with project teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to control expenditure, optimise revenue recovery, and achieve project margin targets. Your responsibilities will include preparing cost estimates, maintaining project financial frameworks, and providing commercial advice to support informed decision-making.
Skills and Experience Required
· Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
· Proven experience in Quantity Surveying, within interior fit-out or commercial construction in New Zealand
· Strong knowledge of contractual obligations and construction materials
· Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail
· Effective time management and ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused approach
· Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite
· Self-motivated, disciplined, and a positive team player
