THE POSITION
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced and agile civil engineering professional to step into the newest office, based in Havlock North, inspire and support a growing engineering team. As the 'Senior' in the region, you will be responsible for driving project excellence, developing team capability, and maybe even expanding the company’s client base. You’ll work closely with Directors to shape the future of the office and ensure the successful delivery of complex land development and infrastructure projects.
MAIN DUTIES
- Lead complex medium to large engineering projects,
- Provide operational and people leadership to the team, fostering a fun, supportive, high-performing culture
- Liaise with clients, councils, and stakeholders to secure approvals and maintain strong professional relationships
- Participate in business strategy, client acquisition, and service enhancement initiatives
- Collaborate with surveyors, planners, and geotechnical specialists.
WHAT IM LOOKING FOR

- You are committed to continuous improvement, and fostering a culture where your team can achieve their best
- 10-15 years’ experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land development and infrastructure.
- Strong track record in project management and client relationship development
QUALIFICATIONS
- Civil Engineering Degree or relevant qualification
- Chartered Member of Engineering NZ and Chartered Professional Engineer (CMEngNZ and CPEng)
