The Position
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Quantity Surveyor with proven expertise in major commercial builds. You will manage project finances, lead a team, and oversee entire project lifecycles from pre-construction through to completion. This is an opportunity to take ownership of $50m+ projects and make a genuine impact.
The salary for this position is in the range of $140-180k, dependent on experience.
Skills and Experience Required
- 10+ years as a Quantity Surveyor, with 4+ years in senior roles.
- At least 4 years of experience working in New Zealand.
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related field (RICS or NZIQS membership is desirable).
- Demonstrated ability to manage Quantity Surveyors or junior team members.
- Strong financial reporting skills using industry software (eg Jobpac, CAT Projects, COINS, Cheops).
- Track record of successfully managing substantial commercial projects from initiation to completion.
- Highly motivated and self-driven individual.
