The Position
As a Senior 3 Waters Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, planning, and managing three waters infrastructure projects. You will provide specialist expertise in water supply, wastewater, and stormwater systems, ensuring compliance with local standards and best practices. Your responsibilities include overseeing civil infrastructure maintenance and upgrades, conducting site observations, and engaging with clients and contractors to deliver successful project outcomes.
Skills and Experience Required
· Minimum 8 years of experience in three waters engineering or a similar role
· Degree in Engineering (Bachelor of Engineering, NZCE, or BEngTech, or equivalent experience)
· Proficiency in three waters infrastructure design and relevant engineering software
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Experience managing and maintaining civil infrastructure
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and contractor engagement
· In-depth knowledge of New Zealand civil engineering standards and regulations
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
