The Position: SITE MANAGER (Interior Fit-Out experience)
Lead construction site activities operations on projects at Auckland Airport. As an experienced interiors Site Manager, you'll orchestrate daily construction activities managing diverse teams including forepersons, trade staff, and subcontractors, while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to exceptional quality standards. This role demands strong airport experience and offers the opportunity to shape critical infrastructure that will serve millions.
Skills and Experience Required
- 6+ years experience in a Site Manager position for a commercial contractor on interior fit-outs
- Experience of working on interior fit-out projects in airports is essential
- Trades background, or qualification in construction
- Proven ability to interpret complex plans, specifications, and manage program delivery
- Leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors
- Understanding of profitability, cost planning, and program management
- Excellent communication skills for client, consultant, and stakeholder engagement
- Computer proficiency and commitment to health and safety excellence
