About the role
Can you run a tight ship? Do you have an air of authority and know how to get the best out of people without raving or bullying? Are you a highly experienced Civil Contracting professional with knowledge of a wide range of civil works - earthworks, road building, pipe laying, subdivisions etc?
These guys are going for it with enough variety of works that the winter does not put the kibosh on activity or cause lay-offs.
The role is responsible to direct site activities, allocate staff, allocate resources, set the bar high on health and safety, coordinate site survey, liaise with the PM on programming, and ensure the smooth running of the programme on site in real time.
About you
- You are experienced at running earthworks, drainage, pavement buildups, concrete and other general civil works
- You have awesome leadership skills that took you off the tools and into running the site
- You are known for delivering great looking, finished product, on top of quality under the ground
- You are a mentor for the developing members on site
- People enjoy working with you
