What You'll Be Doing
- Laying and spreading asphalt
- Raking, levelling and finishing asphalt
- Operating rollers and small plant
- Asphalt compaction and edge finishing
- Preparing surfaces for paving
- Reading basic levels and grades
- Working safely around live traffic and road crews
- Supporting the wider paving team as required
What You'll Need
- 5+ years' asphalt or roading experience
- Proven experience in asphalt paving and finishing
- Class 2 licence with WTR endorsement
- Good understanding of asphalt compaction
- Strong handwork and finishing skills
- Good attitude and reliable work ethic
- Strong commitment to health and safety
- Ability to work well as part of a team
