We're seeking an experienced Sales Professional for a Business Development role to drive growth across a broad products portfolio into food, beverage and animal/pet food sectors within New Zealand and Australia. Reporting to the Managing Director, you'll lead new business development activities, manage new product development, and provide technical expertise to clients.
Key Duties:
- Sell, Sell, Sell
- Develop and execute business development strategies to grow the business's market share and revenue
- Manage relationships with new customers
- Lead new product development initiatives
- Provide technical guidance on food-related ingredients and product specifications
- Identify emerging opportunities in the food, beverage and animal/pet food sectors
Skills & Experience
- significant experience with food industry sales, account management, and business development
- Technical Qualification in food science/ technology
- Technical knowledge of food-related products and ability to provide customer and internal staff support
