A busy manufacturing site in Porirua is looking for an experienced Drafter to join on a contract basis to support a range of projects.
This role will involve updating and producing drawings for site buildings, layouts, and equipment, as well as supporting new projects involving additions, new equipment installations, and electrical layouts.
What you’ll be doing:

Updating and maintaining site, building, and equipment drawings

Producing layouts for new projects, equipment, and modifications
-
Supporting electrical and pneumatic layout drawings as required

Working closely with engineering and project teams to deliver accurate and timely drawings
What we’re looking for:

Proven experience as a Drafter in a manufacturing or industrial environment

Proficiency in either DraftSight, Solidworks (or similar CAD software)

Experience with mechanical or electrical drafting — or ideally both

Understanding of pneumatic systems and associated schematics
-
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently across multiple projects
Contract details:

Initial 3–6 month contract, with potential to extend depending on project needs
