What you’ll do:

  • Carry out general carpentry tasks including framing, fitting, and finishing work
  • Completing work that meets LBP standards, NZ Building Code and compliance requirements
  • Measure, cut, assemble, and install timber and other building materials
  • Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and specifications accurately
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and meets safety regulations
  • Lead a team of carpenters and apprentices
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to client expectations

What we need from you:

  • Current LBP registration (essential)
  • Proven experience in residential and/or commercial carpentry
  • Valid Site Safe or ConstructSafe passport
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
  • Ability to work independently and lead tasks where required
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
  • Good knowledge of site health and safety requirements
