What you’ll do:
- Carry out general carpentry tasks including framing, fitting, and finishing work
- Completing work that meets LBP standards, NZ Building Code and compliance requirements
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install timber and other building materials
- Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and specifications accurately
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and meets safety regulations
- Lead a team of carpenters and apprentices
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to client expectations
What we need from you:
- Current LBP registration (essential)
- Proven experience in residential and/or commercial carpentry
- Valid Site Safe or ConstructSafe passport
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Ability to work independently and lead tasks where required
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Good knowledge of site health and safety requirements
