We are seeking an experienced Certified Drainlayer with a current PGDB licence to join projects with one of our reputable clients working across civil construction, wastewater, drainage, and infrastructure projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, working as part of a professional site team, and contributing to essential infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out drainage and wastewater installation works to a high standard
- Install and connect drainage pipes, fittings, manholes, and associated infrastructure
- Complete repairs, maintenance, and upgrades to existing drainage systems
- Read and interpret plans, drawings, and project specifications
- Work around civil construction and wastewater treatment environments
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and other trades on site
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with project requirements and industry standards
- Maintain a strong focus on health, safety, quality, and environmental requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Current New Zealand PGDB Drainlayer licence/certification
- Proven experience in drain laying and civil construction
- Experience with wastewater, stormwater, drainage, or infrastructure projects is highly desirable
- Good understanding of drainage systems, materials, and installation methods
- Ability to read and understand plans and specifications
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and a professional attitude
- Valid New Zealand driver's licence
- Class 2 and WTR endorsements preferred but not essential
- Physically fit and comfortable working on active construction sites
