Were looking for Civil All-Rounders
to join experienced teams and work across a variety of civil construction and infrastructure projects in Canterbury.
Various hands-on role suited to someone with previous civil construction experience who enjoys variety and getting stuck into different tasks. Youll be involved in civil works, including earthworks, drainage, roading, site preparation, pipework, excavation and reinstatement.
You'll work alongside experienced crews, operate machinery and equipment where required, help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Were looking for reliable, practical, safety-focused and willing people to get stuck in! You'll have a strong work ethic and ability to work well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out general civil construction and infrastructure works
- Assist with earthworks, drainage, roading and pipework
- Operate excavators, loaders and other machinery where required
- Follow plans, site instructions and project requirements
- Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship
- Work safely around underground services and other site hazards
- Support the wider team to meet project deadlines
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised worksite
What youll need:
- Minimum Class 1 Driver Licence
- WTR endorsement preferred
- Previous civil construction experience
- Confident using hand tools, power tools and construction equipment
- A broad range of practical civil skills
- Machine operating experience is an advantage
