We are looking for an experienced diesel mechanic to join our client’s team in Queensland, Australia! Our client is a world-renowned Mining Contractor that produces a wide range of metals and minerals – they are looking for someone to join their large-scale mining operation in the Queensland region.
You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related systems on remote mining locations. In this role you will inspect mechanical and electronic components, troubleshoot issues, performing routine maintenance, and completing more complex repairs on a wide range of mining equipment.

Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic
- Relevant Automotive or Engineering qualification
- NZ/Aus citizenship
- Drug and alcohol free – pre-employment drug and alcohol screen
- Clear criminal history check
- Provide 2 x reference’s from previous employers on request
- Full driver’s license (clean record)
