We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused Offsider to join our team, supporting a drill rig operator on-site.
This is a hands-on role where youll play a key part in ensuring safe and efficient operations around heavy machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the drill rig operator
- Acting as a spotter when the drill rig is moving
- Guiding and monitoring during reversing to ensure clearances are maintained
- Identifying and removing potential obstructions from the work area
- Maintaining a high level of site awareness and safety at all times
What Were Looking For:
- Strong attention to detail and awareness of surroundings
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- A proactive attitude and willingness to work in a physical environment
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
- Previous experience around heavy machinery or in same capacity is preferred
