The Position
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor (full EWRB licence essential) to lead and coordinate electrical works on utility-scale solar farm construction projects in Whangarei. Reporting to the Civil & Electrical Manager, you will supervise on-site electrical activities including DC and AC cabling, inverter installations, earthing systems, and MV infrastructure. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong technical expertise, excellent coordination skills, and a commitment to safety and quality. You will work closely with civil, mechanical, and subcontractor teams to ensure electrical works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications and timelines.

Skills and Experience Required
· Proven experience supervising electrical works on large-scale construction projects
· Experience of working on solar farms projects is desirable but not essential
· Strong knowledge of DC string installation, AC cabling, inverters, earthing systems, and MV cable installations
· Experience with cable hauling techniques, installation standards, and commissioning support
· Full EWRB electrical licence
· Sound understanding of QA/QC processes and electrical testing requirements
· Ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors, and coordinate multiple work fronts
· Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental best practice
· Proficiency in QA/QC tools (e.g. Dashpivot) and Microsoft Office applications
