Our client in Whangarei is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician with a Level 4 trade qualification to join their team. This is a great opportunity to work with a wide range of heavy machinery and equipment across the Northland region.
Key Responsibilities
· Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of heavy machinery, earthmoving, and construction equipment.
· Provide technical support to colleagues and customers in the workshop, at branch locations, and on customer sites throughout Northland.
· Carry out planned maintenance and repairs within the branch workshop.
Requirements
· Level 4 trade qualification in Heavy Automotive Plant and Equipment or an equivalent certification.
· Full Class 1 Driver Licence (higher classes and/or WTR endorsements are an advantage).
· Strong product knowledge within the earthmoving and construction sector.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Basic to intermediate computer skills with sound record-keeping abilities.
