As a Foreman, you are responsible for being the point of contact between Subbies, Labour and the Site Managers. Daily tasks involve interpreting build plans, leading teams of Builders to successfully deliver daily works on site.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the coordination of all carpentry and building, ensuring that they are in accordance with agreed plans
- Monitoring schedules, and driving productivity of the construction teams on site
- Good understanding of placing requisition of materials and tracking expenditure, staying within the budget
- Having the ability to accurately report daily tasks and progress
- Identifying and resolving problems that may arise during construction
- Guaranteeing and implementing safety precautions while also ensuring that quality standards are met
- Conducting tool box talks and safety checks with H&S managers.
