Multiple roles available for Skilled Formworker and Carpenters to complement our clients team, if you have strong work ethic, proven experience and an eye for detail then this opportunity could be for you.
Commercial, Civil and Residential work available across Canterbury ranging from foundations, new buildings, residential housing through to civil infrastructure projects (pump stations, bridges and structural work).
Responsibilities:
- General setting up of Formwork, reinforcing boxing and framing as well as walls
- Shear wall construction on commercial projects
- Ability to perform a wide range of carpentry tasks, including framing, foundations, and the installation of windows, doors, and other fixtures
- Ensuring a high-quality finish
- Finishing tasks including smoothing and sealing
- Reading plans and construction drawings
Ideally you will:
- Be able to use and operate basic hand and power tools
- Have proven experience, experience in shear wall is greatly beneficial
- Have reliable transport
- Have a commitment to a positive health and safety mindset
- Be physically fit and not put off working in all types of weather
- Willing to work, be on time and work full time hours.
- Site Safe preferred (but we can also help you get that)
- Pass a drug test
- Additional tickets such as EWP, Heights, First Aid or Telehandler certification would be a great advantage (we can also help upskill in this)
