With a strong reputation, long-standing client relationships, and a diversified service offering, the business is entering a critical phase of evolution. We are seeking a General Manager to lead performance, strengthen capability, and position the organisation for its next stage of growth.
The Opportunity
Reporting to an engaged and commercially focused Board, this is a true end-to-end leadership role with full accountability for strategy, operations, and financial performance.
You will lead a multi-branch, project-based business and take ownership of:
- Full P&L performance, cashflow, and commercial outcomes
- National operations and consistent project delivery
- Strategic growth across established and emerging markets
- Leadership, structure, and capability of the senior team
- Systems, governance, and operational discipline
This is a role for a leader who can operate confidently at Board level, while remaining closely connected to site-based delivery and operational execution.

What You’ll Bring
You will be a commercially strong and operationally credible leader, with experience in contracting or project-based environments.
Key experience includes:
- Senior leadership within construction, industrial services, or specialist surface and asset protection sectors
- Proven success leading multi-site or national operations
- Full P&L accountability and strong commercial judgement
- Deep understanding of site-based project delivery and contracts
- Experience building structure, systems, and performance frameworks
- Ability to lead, influence, and develop high-performing teams
You will also bring the maturity to:
- Build trusted relationships with owners and governance stakeholders
- Lead through growth, change, and increasing organisational complexity
- Balance commercial ambition with operational capability and risk
