This role is ideal for operators who enjoy being hands-on, working outdoors, and being part of large-scale projects that keep the region moving. You’ll be operating a variety of plant and equipment while supporting crews with earthworks, roading, drainage, and site prep.
Your day-to-day may include:
- Operating excavators, rollers, loaders, and other civil machinery
- Assisting with excavation, backfilling, and trench work
- Supporting drainage and roading crews on-site
- Carrying out equipment checks and maintaining safe operation
- Working efficiently to meet project deadlines

To be successful, you’ll have:
- Previous experience operating machinery in civil or construction environments
- WTR endorsements and class 2/4 licence preferred
- A strong understanding of health and safety practices
- Reliability and a good work ethic
- Ability to work well within a crew and take direction
