This role is ideal for someone comfortable working in rural environments and on challenging terrain. You’ll be operating machinery, assisting with rural works, and driving trucks on steep, narrow roads. Flexibility with travel is essential, as projects are spread across multiple rural locations.
What you’ll be doing:
- Operating machinery on rural sites (excavators, loaders, tractors, graders)
- Rural excavation work including digging, drainage, and earthworks
- Assisting with fencing, access tracks, and farm infrastructure projects
- Truck driving on steep, narrow, and unsealed rural roads
- Carrying out daily machine checks and basic maintenance
- Working safely and efficiently in remote and rural environments

What we’re looking for:
- WTR endorsements
- Class 2 or Class 4 licence
- Proven rural machine operating experience
- Experience with digging, fencing, and general rural works
- Confident truck driving on steep, narrow rural roads
- Good mechanical awareness and respect for equipment
- Flexible with travel and working across regions
