If you're confident operating excavators around live services and have experience with water, stormwater, sewer, power, or telecommunications infrastructure, we'd love to hear from you. This is a hands-on role offering long-term work, great team environments, and the opportunity to work on a variety of civil infrastructure projects.
What you'll be doing:
- Operating excavators and other civil machinery around underground services
- Excavating for water, stormwater, sewer, power and fibre installations
- Reading service plans and locating existing underground utilities
- Working safely around live services while maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Completing daily pre-start checks and basic machine maintenance
- Assisting the crew with general civil works when required

What we're looking for:
- Proven experience operating excavators around underground services
- WTR endorsements and Class 2 or above licence
- Strong knowledge of safe excavation practices
- Ability to read plans and identify underground services
- ConstructSafe or Site Safe preferred
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work well within a team
