A well-established, family-owned drainage contractor is seeking an experienced Office Manager to take ownership of its day-to-day administration and support functions.
This opportunity has arisen as the long-standing Office Manager transitions toward retirement. It suits someone who enjoys working independently, values stability, and wants to grow their role over time.
About the Role
This is a sole-charge position supporting the Owner, Project Manager, and Contract Manager across office, yard, and site operations.
The role offers autonomy, variety, and the chance to become a key part of a small, tight-knit team. There is flexibility in hours (including part-time), however this is an office-based role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day office operations and administration
- Maintain project documentation and systems (Procore or similar)
- Coordinate H&S, compliance, prequalifications, and audits
- Process timesheets and support payroll and invoicing workflows
- Assist with accounts administration (MYOB exposure beneficial)
- Support tender documentation and contract setup (growth area)
- Coordinate staff records, training, and general office logistics
About You
- Experienced in office management or senior administration (construction/trades preferred)
- Comfortable working sole charge and managing your own workload
- Highly organised, practical, and proactive
- Confident communicator who can work across all levels
- Systems savvy (Excel, MYOB, or similar)
