A well-established traffic management provider is seeking an experienced and motivated TTM Operations Manager to support the delivery of temporary traffic management services across the Auckland region.
As the Operations Manager, you will bridge business development, field operations, crew supervision, and administrative co-ordination - ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery.
The position
You'll oversee the day-to-day running of TTM operations, managing crew supervisors and field teams. In addition to this, the job holder will drive BD and have a focus on planning, training, safety, and operational performance, ensuring crews are well-supported, schedules are met, and projects run seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead, support, and develop crew supervisors and field staff.
· Drive new business, keeping up to date with the market and needs of industry.
· Plan and coordinate operational delivery including scheduling, resource allocation, and adherence to TTM methodologies and design plans.
· Promote and uphold health, safety, and compliance standards.
· Collaborate with Project Managers and internal teams.
· Monitor costings and profitability across projects, ensuring effective use of labour, plant, and materials.
· Participate in an on-call roster and weekend work when needed - responding proactively to reactive operational demands.
What You'll Bring:

Technical and Industry Skills:
· Proven operational management experience, ideally within temporary traffic management, civil, or infrastructure environments.
· Sound understanding of TTM practices, standards, and methodologies.
· Strong planning, scheduling, and organisational skills, with business acumen and an eye for financial performance.
· Experience interpreting TTM plans, working within policies and compliance frameworks.
