The Position
This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for driving the end-to-end delivery of projects across the business. As Operations Manager, you will act as the central connector aligning teams across sales, design, manufacturing, and delivery to ensure projects run smoothly, efficiently, and profitably.
You will take ownership of operational performance, leading both strategy and execution. This role will suit someone who thrives on bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to a growing business while remaining hands-on and close to delivery.
Key aspects of the role include:
· Leading and aligning multidisciplinary teams across office, production, and site
· Managing the full project lifecycle from enquiry through to handover
· Overseeing procurement, supply chain, and production coordination
· Driving performance through systems, reporting, and KPI management
· Identifying and implementing operational improvements as the business scales
· Supporting growth initiatives and strengthening key client relationships
This role can be based in the North Island, and relocation support is available for the right candidate anywhere in New Zealand.
Skills and Experience required
· Strong background in residential construction, ideally with exposure to modular or offsite manufacturing
· Proven experience managing end-to-end project or operational delivery
· Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders across office, factory, and site environments
· Strong commercial acumen, including budgeting, pricing, and forecasting
· Highly organised with strong planning and prioritisation capability
· Confident, pragmatic leadership style with the ability to bring teams together
· Strong systems capability, including project management tools and Excel
· Solutions-focused mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
