About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership role combining production coordination with active involvement on the workshop floor.
You will be responsible for leading a team, supporting production output, maintaining quality standards and ensuring safe, efficient operations.
This role requires someone who is comfortable leading from the front and stepping into practical work when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate factory staff and daily operations
- Support fabrication and workshop activities as required
- Step into hands-on tasks during peak workloads or deadlines
- Maintain health and safety standards across the workshop
- Drive productivity and meet delivery targets
- Support training and development of staff
- Run toolbox meetings and coordinate team activities
- Maintain alignment with production plans and output targets
About You
- Trade background in fabrication, welding or similar (preferred)
- Experience in a production or workshop environment
- Proven ability to lead and support a team
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes
- Practical, hands-on and solutions-focused
