Lead a Significant Development Programme from the Ground Up

We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to establish and lead a significant capital development programme involving multiple infrastructure, construction, operational, and customer experience workstreams.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a programme from concept through to delivery, bringing together consultants, contractors, operational stakeholders, and leadership teams to successfully deliver a unique development initiative in one of New Zealand’s most iconic locations.

Working across multiple projects and disciplines, you will play a central role in ensuring programme objectives, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations remain aligned throughout the development lifecycle.

The Role

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing and managing the overall programme of work
  • Coordinating multiple projects and workstreams across infrastructure, facilities, and customer experience
  • Developing programme plans, staging strategies, budgets, and business cases
  • Managing consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders
  • Monitoring programme performance, risks, and delivery outcomes
  • Supporting governance reporting and decision-making processes
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with strategic objectives
  • Identifying opportunities to improve commercial outcomes and customer experience

About You

You may currently be working as a:

  • Programme Manager
  • Senior Project Manager
  • Development Manager
  • Capital Projects Manager
  • Infrastructure Delivery Manager
  • Project Director

You will bring:

  • Proven experience delivering complex capital projects or programmes of work
  • Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, consultants, and contractors
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience operating within infrastructure, construction, property development, engineering, or asset-intensive environments
  • An understanding of both infrastructure delivery and experience development, with the ability to bring together operational, commercial, customer and project stakeholders to successfully deliver an end-to-end outcome
  • The ability to bring structure, momentum, and alignment to complex projects

Most importantly, you will be someone who enjoys bringing people together, navigating complexity, and driving projects through to successful completion.
