My client is a leading commercial construction contractor in need of a highly motivated and capable Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major project in Hamilton. A strong work ethic and a can-do attitude, coupled with demonstrable experience of getting high-value projects over the line on time and to budget are essential.
You will be responsible for leading and motivating the project team and ensuring a team approach is taken to safety and quality. Salary is $160-180k depending on experience. NZ experience is essential to be considered.
Applicants must have at least 5 years experience as a Project Manager, with experience of working on a range of commercial construction projects. An industry relevant Diploma, NZCE or Bachelor degree is desirable.
Strong planning and programming skills; experience of managing high performing project teams and subcontractors; strong team leadership skills, with the ability to motivate staff positively and constructively are essential.
The role has interaction with site staff, quantity surveyors, engineers and clients. You must be a natural at developing and maintaining relationships.
