In this senior civil engineering position, you will be expected to deliver roading, streetscapes, earthworks, and drainage services, including three waters. Joining this high performing civil contractor will have you managing the engineers and delivery teams, ensuring projects are produced on time, to budget and meeting high-quality, HSE standards. You will be working on projects that are valued up to $20mill, and you will be driven and motivated to continue your career and growth in civil space.
Further responsibilities of the job;
- Lead and mentor project managers and site leadership in all areas of construction, including delivery, quality and health and safety.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to the strategic planning and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to tendering, pricing and winning new work.
About the person I am looking for;
- Proven NZ experience as a civil Project Manager or as a Senior Project Manager in civil construction.
- Legal current right to work in NZ (No sponserships)
- Experience developing and mentoring project leaders and site leaders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - relatable, proactive and approachable.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, processes and relevant legislation and regulations.
- Proficient in the use of construction management software and tools.
- Commercial skills with the ability to price and lead projects.
The salary on offer is around $150 - $180k per annum + vehicle, depending on your transferable skills and experiences.
