About the Role
This is a key role responsible for maintaining and improving quality across the production process.
You will take ownership of the Quality Management System while working closely with production and suppliers to ensure standards are met and improved over time.
The role suits someone who can operate across both systems and the shop floor, identifying issues, driving improvements and embedding good quality practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (ISO9001 aligned)
- Develop and implement QC procedures and documentation
- Conduct internal and external audits
- Monitor quality performance and report on key metrics
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Support supplier quality and performance management
- Train staff on quality standards and best practices
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
About You
- Experience in a quality-focused role within manufacturing or engineering
- Strong understanding of QMS systems (ISO9001 preferred)
- Comfortable leading audits and driving improvements
- Analytical and structured approach to problem solving
- Confident working across production and support teams
