The Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating with workshop, site teams, suppliers and clients

  • Ensuring compliance with applicable NZ standards and industry codes

This role requires an engineer who can operate with autonomy, make sound engineering judgements, and maintain high documentation discipline.

Technical Requirements

  • 7+ years’ post-graduate experience in Mechanical (or Process) Engineering

  • Demonstrated experience as project lead on larger design & build projects

  • Competent in SolidWorks

Why Lyttelton Engineering?

  • Established industrial engineering business with in-house fabrication capability

  • Varied and technically interesting project work

  • Strong pipeline of repeat industrial clients

  • Competitive salary aligned to experience

  • Lyttelton location – coastal setting, 20 minutes from central Christchurch
