The Position
As a Senior Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering all on site surveying activities, covering set outs, earthworks calculations, as built documentation, and technical reporting. You’ll work closely with project managers, engineers, clients, and consultants while supervising junior surveyors and ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance across multiple civil projects. This is a hands on, technically challenging position suited to someone who enjoys autonomy, problem solving, and influencing project outcomes.
Skills and Experience Required
• Proven experience as a Land Surveyor within civil construction/earthworks, ideally 5+ years in a senior capacity.
• Proficiency in Civil CAD, Magnet, and Trimble Business Center for processing survey data and producing plans.
• Strong capability with GPS, total stations, and modern survey technology.
• Demonstrated skill in cut/fill calculations, set outs, as builts, and technical reporting.
• Ability to supervise and mentor junior surveyors, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management abilities.
