As a Senior Surveyor, you will work autonomously to execute and manage high-level survey activities across multiple civil and structural engineering sites.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting precise construction and engineering set-out programs for civil and structural assets
- Managing your workflow seamlessly between field data capture and office processing/reporting
- Reviewing and validating highly accurate detail, feature, and topographic surveys
- Executing detailed as-built surveys, volume calculations, and comprehensive reporting
- Ensuring the accurate use and calibration of GNSS, total stations, and cutting-edge survey instruments
- Maintaining strict survey accuracy, data quality assurance, and safety standards
- Liaising directly with clients, project managers, and internal engineering teams
We are looking for a self-motivated, technically proficient surveyor who thrives when working independently both on-site and in the office.
You will ideally have:
- 5+ years of experience in an Engineering or Civil Surveying role (experience with structural concrete/steel set-outs is highly desirable)
- Proven capability to work autonomously and manage field-to-office deliverables efficiently
- High proficiency with modern surveying instruments and processing software (such as 12d, Civil3D, Trimble, or Leica)
- Strong attention to detail and a steadfast commitment to high-quality data
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- A current, valid Australian driver’s licence
