With a strong pipeline of work, the company prides itself on creating supportive environments where people can thrive and make a real impact.

The Position

This is a pivotal Workforce Planner role responsible for ensuring projects are resourced with the right people, at the right time, with the right skills.

You’ll work closely with operations and project teams to forecast labour requirements, manage rosters, support recruitment and induction, oversee training and competency records, and coordinate both direct and external labour. Strong relationships are at the heart of this role — you’ll be influencing site teams, suppliers, and stakeholders while helping maintain high standards across health & safety, quality, and workforce capability.

This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys balancing planning with people leadership in a fast-paced construction environment.

  • Construction industry background (5+ years preferred)
  • Strong people, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Confident influencing others and working collaboratively across multiple teams
  • Experience with recruitment, induction, and workforce compliance processes
  • Organised, solutions-focused, and calm under pressure
  • Comfortable working with numbers, forecasts, and labour planning
  • Solid computer skills (Excel, Word, email, project systems)
  • A genuine commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

What’s in it for you

  • Key role with real influence across major projects
  • Supportive, team-oriented culture
  • Opportunity to shape workforce outcomes and processes
  • Varied role combining strategy, planning, and people engagement
  • Long-term career growth within a respected construction business
